Vermontijuana cannabis farm tours are unique, interactive experiences for small groups and 21+ individuals that bring you directly to legal cannabis farms where you’ll meet the growers, learn the basics of how we cultivate our cannabis, and experience the environment and atmosphere that makes Vermontijuana cannabis unique.

No two grows are the same, and we presently offer two unique tour locations in the ‘Northeast Kingdom’ region of Vermont. Minutes from Kingdom Trails and Burke Mountain, Off Piste Farm in Sutton features Friday evening and select Saturday tours. A few miles of dirt road away from the world-famous Parker Pie Co. and 20 minutes from Bread & Puppet Theater Company, Vermontijuana Farmstead in Irasburg features Sunday tours.

Each tour includes round-trip transportation and lasts approximately two hours. No individuals under the age of 21 years old are allowed to participate – no exceptions for babies, infants, or any other circumstances. IDs will be required for any younger participants before departing the respective meeting place.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

The tour begins at the designated location — either Mike’s Tiki Bar or the Parker Pie Co. — with a brief orientation, during which we’ll fill out paperwork, check ID’s, give everyone a preview of what-to-expect, and make sure everyone is properly-equipped.

Along the way, you’ll learn about the history and present laws of legal cannabis in Vermont, the difference between hemp and marijuana, the basics of the Endocannabinoid system and a simplified breakdown of how CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids and natural compounds interact with the human brain and body.

Upon arriving at the licensed cultivation facility, you’ll be greeted by the head cultivator(s) — either Farmer Ben and his partner Meg or Eli Harrington — and we’ll discuss the basics of how the cannabis plant is germinated, planted, treated, harvested, and processed as we tour the fields and greenhouses. You’ll be invited to ask questions and take pictures as we both show and tell you how cannabis plants grow in Vermont, and describe the process of planting, tending, harvesting, and processing legal cannabis on the farm.

At the conclusion of the farm show-and-tell, we will provide guests with roughly 30 minutes of free time to walk the grounds, enjoy a complimentary beverage, meet the chickens, photograph the plants, and talk cannabis with your hosts and fellow guests.

A $10 discount is available at check-out to any/all guests who are:

  • Year-Round Residents of Vermont
  • Military Veterans
  • Registered Medical Cannabis Patients/Caregivers
  • Over the age of 65 years old
