‘Ski Daze’ Event Series Brings Recreational Networking to the Cannabis Community

Posted on December 16th, 2021 to Uncategorized by

Vermontijuana Ski Daze is a series of monthly events for winter sports enthusiasts with an interest in Vermont’s cannabis community and industry that features heavily discounted lift tickets and recreational networking at different Vermont ski areas from January through March.

The organizer, Eli Harrington, is a lifelong snowboarder who’s worked in the ski industry and says the goals of the event are simple:

“Get people who love snow sports and have an interest in cannabis together in the same place at the same time, and let the stoke do the rest!”

Harrington clarified that the Ski Daze tickets — which vary from $25 to $60 — include lift access and a networking meetup, but ticket do not include any cannabis ‘gifts’ or ‘donations’, and that all normal consumption laws apply.

“Like a lot of other industries, the ski industry is going to figure out how to officially incorporate cannabis in the next decade and in the meantime, we’re super grateful for these independent ski areas just for treating us like any other networking group.”

Tickets for all five dates are available for purchase via the Seven Days ticketing service and on the Vermontijuana Events page. Sponsors and groups who want to join are invited to email vermontijuana@gmail.com for more details or DM @Vermontijuana
